 Lagoon 500 Universe is the first luxury sailing catamaran in Sharm El Sheikh. This award winning yacht is now available to charter for tailored sailing cruises exclusively.
 
About the boat:

Universe is designed and constructed in Bordeaux, France. She is unique to Sharm, very modern and well appointed, with clean lines, masterful design work and state-of-the-art equipment. The catamaran design allows a very stable and smooth journey and for a spacious layout. There are plenty of areas to relax inside or out on the decks. There are also four en-suite cabins, a saloon with flat screen T.V., and music system (IPOD compatable).
 
Universe is equipped with three sails specially designed for wind conditions typically found in the Northern Red Sea, due to this, it is almost 100% guaranteed that you will experience the peace of true sailing. During this time you can simply relax and enjoy the sun and the turquoise blue waters lapping gently around the boat, or if you wish the crew will happily let you steer the boat and explain some basic sailing techniques.
 
All facilities such as four en-suite luxury cabins, steward, beverages, snacks, selection of books and movies, internet access, satellite telephone, board games etc. are available onboard.

Introduction to Sailing:

Offering the opportunity to book a two hour introduction to sailing course. By the end of the course you will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, basic rope work, you will be aware of safety on board, and you will have  learnt some basic sailing terminology. Yacht sailing is extremely diverse and there are opportunities for everyone to participate. There is no sport that offers a greater variety of emotions, experiences, destinations and social opportunity. This is the perfect way to ignite your passion for sailing, aboard our award-winning yacht.

 

 

 

 

 

The inside cabin is spacious and beautifully arranged. Outside is the rear dining and socializing area. Guests may also sit on the bridge or out on the bow deck where you really get the feel of a modern and fully equipped sailing boat.
